Some of Poochie’s favorite pastimes were fishing, playing spades, hanging out with his friends and this is when he gained the name “Satch”. Most importantly when he was blessed with grandkids and a great grandson, he made sure that he enjoyed outside play, riding bikes, power wheels, getting beat at basketball etc. The thing that brought him more joy and laughter was getting pranked on by them. It was never a dull moment when they got together because Papa and G-Papa would let them get away with anything. Poochie always made it a point to visit his family and friends whenever he stepped in Washington, and he was so happy to do so.
William leaves to cherish his precious and funny memories, his son William Jr of Greenville NC, the apple of his eye princess Tamika Johnson (Jerome) of Angier NC.
