Mrs. Tammy Junice (Cotton) Greene

Mrs. Tammy Cotton Greene, 55 of Greenville, North Carolina, who departed this life on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

Tammy was born July 23, 1968 to the late William Cotton and the late Mary Hogan Cotton in Washington, NC. 

Tammy attended the former John A. Wilkinson High School in Belhaven, NC, and held various jobs around Beaufort and Pitt Counties. The last job being at Denny's in Greenville, NC.

Tammy lit up every room she entered. She was a sweet, fun, and comical person. She made everyone she encountered feel like family. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sibling, Lewis Hogan. 

Tammy leaves to cherish memories, her daughter Shalata Johnson of Greenville, NC; one grandson ZaChristian Spencer;  three brothers, George Hogan, Robert Cotton, and Anthony Hogan; three sisters Roshelle Hogan, Lisa Brown, and Tellie M. Cotton; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. 

Public viewing will be held 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday, June 8, 2024 from the People's Memorial Chapel.
