Mr. William Sanders Berry, III

William Sanders Berry, III was born February 2, 1983 to Isabelle Moore and the late William Berry, Jr. He departed this life on May 25, 2026 at home surrounded by a few of his loved ones.

WeeWee or Boberry as he was affectionately known, attended Washington High School and was an exceptional Defensive tackler on the football team. He worked for several years at Onyx Industrial, before working in the food industry. William loved fishing, football, cruising on his boat, and cracking jokes. William loved giving his family and friends nicknames such as “Lil Lewis” his mom, “Lil Mary” his special friend, and “Lil Lee” his special friend.

William was preceded in death by his father, William Berry, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Garfield Bryant & Odessa Bryant; maternal grandmother, Carrie Moore, and maternal grandfather, Lewis Norfleet.

William leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Kymori Berry, and Serenity Berry; one son, Mar’Trez Berry; his mother, Isabella Moore; two brothers, Stephon Moore, and Donta Berry; three sisters, Latoya Whitley, Maiya Little (Rashee) and Shadonna Berry; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family, and friends.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at People's Memorial Chapel. The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Kingdom Life Community Church, 3681 US HWY 17 N. Washington, North Carolina. Interment will follow the Service at the Heggie Cemetery, Chocowinity, NC.
