Mr. Larry Darnell Stilley

Mr. Larry Darnell Stilley, 67, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at ECU Health Hospice in Greenville, North Carolina. Larry was born on November 28, 1958, to the late James Coleman and Eula Brown Stilley,. 

Larry attended Aurora School and was known for his sense of humor. Larry aka “L BOOGIE” touched many lives and will be remembered by the impact he made on those around him. He was a member of Phenel Chapel Church and enjoyed singing in the All-Male Chorus.

Larry was preceded in death by his father James Coleman Stilley

Larry leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Eula Stilley of the home. His siblings, Delores Cannon (Charles) of Aurora, NC, James O’Neal Stilley, of the home. Brenda Whitney, Chocowinity, NC, Jerome Stilley, (Chereise) of Winterville, NC, Elgin Stilley (Faith) of Blounts Creek, NC, he also leaves to cherish his memories his God Children Shadrienna and Shandea Roland. A host of nieces and nephews. He also leaves to cherish his memory of a great nephew who he adopted as a grandson Dallas Barber. A host of Cousins and Friends, Special friends, Nicole Blackwell, Willie Boyd and Gail.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Phenel Chapel MB Church. The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Phenel Chapel MB Church 190 Stilley Town Rd Blounts Creek, NC. Interment will follow the Service at Stilley Family Cemetery, Blounts Creek, NC.
