Mr. James Lavann Brimage, Sr.

Mr. James Lavann Brimage, Sr., 74, of New Brunswick, New Jersey, formerly of Scranton, North Carolina, departed this life on Monday, October 14, 2024, at St. Peter's Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

James moved to New Brunswick, New Jersey after graduating high school. In 2005 James & his wife moved back to North Carolina after retirement. In 2023 James & his
wife relocated back to New Jersey. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton & Mary C. Brimage of Scranton, NC; and a granddaughter, Shania A. Guadalupe of Los Angeles, CA.

He is survived by his devoted loving wife of 52 years, Lorna C. Brimage of East Brunswick, NJ; five children,  Carolyne Burton of Maryland, James Brimage, Jr. of Tampa, Florida, Anthony Brimage of Somerset, NJ, Melanie Henderson of Carteret, NJ, Nadia Brimage of East Brunswick, NJ; two brothers, Bennie Brimage, and George T. Brimage: one sister, Lovie Brimage; godson Dawonne Cooper of North Brunswick, NJ; fourteen grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
