Deacon Marshall “Bud” Blango, Sr.

Mr. Marshall Blango Sr., 75, of 735 Core Point Rd., Blounts Creek, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at ECU Health in Greenville.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Lola Haywood Blango; three daughters, Reverend Monica Blango Ponds of Aurora, NC, and Veronica Blango and Shakila Aldridge, both of Greenville, NC; two stepsons, Jermaine Haywwod of Aurora, NC, and Donald Moore of Blounts Creeek, NC; six sisters, Eliza Thompson, Mamie Blango, Katie Respass, Sylvia Blango, Sanila Blango, all of Blounts Creek, NC, and Belinda McCray of Fuquay Varina, NC; three brothers, Andrew Blango of Blounts Creek, NC, Joseph Blango of Elizabeth Town, NC, and Bernard Blango of Washington, NC; as well as six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Marshall Blango, Jr. 

Interment for Deacon Blango will take place at the St. Anna Church Cemetery in Blounts Creek, NC.
